Donut Crazy Named “Best Doughnuts” in the State
The award comes from Connecticut Magazine’s coveted Readers’ Choice Awards

SHELTON, CT (January 4, 2019) – New Year, same great donuts! Donut Crazy, a local eatery specializing in unique donut flavors (lovingly called Dailies and Crazies), has been chosen by its loyal customers as having the “Best Doughnuts” in Connecticut.

Connecticut Magazine recently hosted its 40th annual Readers’ Choice Awards, collecting and tallying ballots from all over the state. In addition to a statewide winner in each category, the publication recognizes the restaurants with the most votes in each county as well. Donut Crazy also earned the title of “Best Doughnuts” in Fairfield County, where its Westport, Stratford, and Shelton locations reside.

“We have so much fun doing what we do, and to have our customers show so much support and appreciation is just the cherry on top,” gushed Jason Wojnarowski, the creator and owner of Donut Crazy. “We love mixing up our flavors and getting creative to make sure we always have something for everyone. Donut Crazy also has two locations in New Haven County—its New Haven post near Yale University’s campus and a take-out shop in Branford—and its newly opened storefront in downtown West Hartford (Hartford County).
