The folks at Donut Crazy — with locations in Bridgeport, Shelton, Stratford and Westport — like to mix things up.
And starting on Friday, Sept. 1, Donut Crazy will be adding two new fun flavors to the mix that sound perfect for fall.
Fans can now munch on apple cider doughnuts with cinnamon sugar and the “Samora” — think Samoa, like a Girl Scout cookie. It’s a cake doughnut half-dipped in milk chocolate, topped with dulce de leche and toasted coconut, and drizzled with more dulce de leche and chocolate.
The special fall doughnuts will be available at all Donut Crazy locations: Shelton, Stratford, New Haven and Westport as well as at Nom-eez in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport.
And Donut Crazy, which began in Stratford, is continuing to grow in the state. New locations are due to open soon in Branford and West Hartford.
